2. CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar (w/ Paul Heyman) In A No DQ Match- Summerslam 2013
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Md6Weuf4dss Summerslam 2013 was no doubt the best PPV of all of last year, with matches up and down the card that really were great to watch. But the highlight of the night was CM Punk against Brock Lesnar, in which the Best in the World took on the Beast in order to attempt and avenge himself against the betrayal of Paul Heyman. The stipulation that was soon added was that there would be no disqualification, emphasising the fact that this would indeed be a war between these two men with no quarter given. Both men used the No DQ rule to their advantage at various stages of the match, with steel steps, chair shots and the announce table all being used viciously to show that there was nothing that these two men would not do to have their arm raised in victory while Lesnar showed his mat wrestling ability with a triple suplex sequence which brought chants of Eddy from the crowd in tribute to the late WWE Champion. Punk was brilliant in this match, in that he not only managed to sell Lesnar as a monstrous opponent, but he managed to get Lesnar to engage in some of the ring psychology that was frankly lacking in his other matches since his return, where he seemed at times a little bored. This was therefore not only one of the best matches of Punk's career, but one of Lesnar's too and the fact that it came a good decade after his debut in a WWE ring shows how much both men were fired up for this.
