Another example of CM Punk being at his best as a heel was his one-on-one match with The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 29. The build up had been fantastic. Punk was coming off a lengthy run as WWE Champion, taking on the streak to reaffirm his arrogance as the best in the world. He played the cocky heel role to perfection, but it was after the unfortunate death of Paul Bearer that Punk really turned the heat up. Showing unwavering confidence, Punk attacked The Undertaker with Bearer's urn and poured the contained ashes all over Taker. Some men may have been fazed by the timing of the angle, but not Punk, a true worker who enjoys nothing more than provoking the crowd. He'd sold the match in typical Punk fashion. On the night of Mania, both men delivered. Their contest was a back and forth clash which elevated both men. Punk worked some fans into believing he really would end the 20 year streak, which gives you an idea just how skilled this man is at what he does. When you also consider that Taker was far from 100% (neither was an injury-niggled Punk for that matter) it's even more of a testament to the skill level involved. Showing he can sell moves better than anyone else in the modern day WWE, the Straight Edge Star stole the show once again.
