If nothing else, WWE has sent out feelers over a potential wrestler rankings.

A recent survey sent out to WWE fans saw the company poll its consumers on a number of different things, including a potential wrestler ranking system.

Dave Scherer of PWInsider notes as well as wrestler rankings, the survey was looking to gauge opinion on several other items fans may be interested in, including NFTs, as well as the social media platforms that the person taking the survey follows WWE on.

Additionally, those filling out the survey were asked how frequently they attend live shows and watch premium live events, Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.

WWE's closest competitors, All Elite Wrestling, have employed a rankings system since Dynamite debuted in October 2019. Used as a means of building title contenders and establishing a competitive framework in a promotion purported to present a sport-like feel, it resets to zero every year, though cumulative, career-long win, loss, and draw totals are logged as well.

The closest WWE has come to employing such a system in recent memory came in February 2018, when a still-retired Daniel Bryan unveiled the SmackDown LIVE Top 10 Superstars List. WWE scrapped it within a couple of weeks, however.
