WWE Considering Cutout Fans For WrestleMania 37

WWE discussing using cutout fans, ala NFL Super Bowl LV, for WrestleMania 37.

With WrestleMania 37 to take place from the same Raymond James Stadium locale as yesterday’s NFL Super Bowl LV, it looks as if WWE could pull inspiration from the NFL’s playbook for this year’s Showcase of the Immortals.

Super Bowl LV saw 25,000 fans in attendance at Raymond James Stadium, with a further 30,000 fans featured as cutouts. And having seen how great a visual this provided for the 2021 Super Bowl, WWE is reportedly discussing following suit with something similar.

As per the usually reliable @WrestleVotes, despite being initially against the idea of using fan cutouts as part of their WrestleMania 37 crowd, WWE is now seemingly a lot more open to copying the concept that worked so well for the NFL.

Similar to Super Bowl LV, the belief is that WrestleMania 37 will have 25,000 physical fans in attendance on each of its two nights – and there’s now a chance that the rest of the venue may well end up full of cutout fans.

Interestingly, the NFL sold each of its cutout slots for $100 apiece. And let’s face it, if WWE can make use of empty stadium seats and make money in the process, it seems a no-brainer that the company may well offer up something similar to Super Bowl LV when WrestleMania 37 rolls around on 10 and 11 April.
