WWE Crown Jewel: 10 Things That Must Happen

10. WWE Squeeze A Kickoff Match On There

Namely, AOP vs. Bobby Roode and Chad Gable.

That's the match which makes the most sense when seeing what happened on the latest Raw. After the 'Glorious' (or should that be dubious?) new tag of Bobby and Chad pinned regular whipping boys The Ascension in a three-way, Drake Maverick's henchmen kicked their heads in. We smell a match impending.

A 10-minute tag-team effort on the pre-show would be a nice way to warm up the crowd and get WWE's motor running at Crown Jewel. If that's then backed by a strong storyline that sees Roode desperately trying to save Gable from losing only to come up short, then everyone wins. The AOP must retain some sense of bad-assery.

If AOP vs. Roode and Gable doesn't suit, then there's always the temptation to throw a fast-paced Cruiserweight Title bout out first to get the fans on side. This is a tried-and-tested formula; tag match or Cruisers, WWE need something to set the tone for the rest of the night.
