WWE may wish to get Crown Jewel out of the way so they can focus on Survivor Series and a vocal section of the fan base might be directly opposed to the show even happening, but Kurt Angle is excited about heading to Saudi. That's probably because he will get to tick off some opponents that previously seemed out of reach.

On Friday, Angle will be motivated by the thought of wrestling Dolph Ziggler, and he'd be licking his slobbering chops at the prospect of tangling with Seth Rollins in the Semi Finals.

That match simply has to be booked. There's no other way around it. This is WWE's chance to see how much the 49-year old legend has in his tank without masking things with shortcut stipulations or developing a story behind it. If he's put in 10-minute sprints against both Dolph and Seth, Kurt will kill it.

Think of this as a warm up for things to come. Should Angle show how much he has to give here, then WWE may be more willing to put him in featured spots further down the line, and that's a good thing. Although he's not going to be a full-timer in 2018, Kurt can be effective, and he loves challenging himself.
