WWE Crown Jewel: 10 Things That Must Happen
6. Seth Rollins Wins The WWE World Cup
Like Croatia did this past summer in Russia, Seth will fall at the last remaining hurdle despite looking impressive.
Seth Rollins is the best choice to win the first ever WWE World Cup. Being honest, the tournament will probably be forgotten about as soon as it finishes and Raw starts the following Monday. That's what happened, give or take an episode, with the Greatest Royal Rumble. It meant little almost immediately.
Regardless of April's mediocrity, this is WWE's chance to put things right and ensure the World Cup has a flag bearer who will talk up his achievements beyond Friday. Rollins is the real iron man of the roster, one capable of working lengthy matches and multiple times without fans growing bored of seeing him too. That's a rare skill, and it's why he should be king of this particular castle.
Perhaps Seth could then defend his World Cup crown next year, and WWE could make the event an international occasion somewhere like Australia, South America or the United Kingdom. Those places are ripe for more stadium shows anyway.
