WWE Crown Jewel 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. The Show "Only" Lasts Three Hours

The first Saudi special, Greatest Royal Rumble, lasted almost five hours. WWE shortened that in time for last year's Crown Jewel (3:41:26) and the follow-up Super Show-Down this past June (3:48:30). They'd be doing themselves another favour by clipping off approximately 40-50 minutes of that and presenting Jewel 2019 as a three-hour show.

Please. For the love of God, please.

Currently, Crown Jewel has nine scheduled matches, and one of those (the 20-man Battle Royal) is earmarked for the typically-bloated and unnecessary Kickoff show. Assuming they're not going to wheel out several other 'bonus' bouts on the night, then it'd be a stretch for WWE to fill four to five hours anyway.

Tyson Fury is a non-wrestler, Mansoor vs. Cesaro and AJ Styles vs. the Battle Royal winner should be short, and Cain Velasquez' first WWE match doesn't need to be long. That leaves Wyatt vs. Rollins, which should be short-ish, the Tag-Team Turmoil (which will overstay its welcome), the women's match and the Team Hogan vs. Team Flair match.

All going well, this card won't last 17 years.
