7. A Mansoor For All Riyadh Seasons

There's a reason you haven't seen Mansoor for the five months since his 'astonishing' Super Showdown 51-man battle royal victory: his canon exists solely for an entirely alternate timeline.

The Riyadh-billed NXT man was very politically presented as the show's feelgood hero, perfectly tuned to assuage the reasonable suggestion that these Saudi Arabian shows might be morally corrupt. And then he vanished from existence entirely, in spite of the apparent import of his huge upset win. Why? Because he's only relevant in one location.

So just like that, he's to be dusted off and wheeled out at the King Fahd International Stadium this week. And not to lose to Cesaro. The Swiss Superman - and he fulfills the role incredibly well - currently exists to burnish tomorrow's babyfaces. That's Mansoor this Thursday - even if he won't be around the day after that.

Prediction: Blink and you'll miss him, but it's a second V for Mansoor.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
