8. Xavier Woods Becomes King

Oh he just can't wait to be 'King'.

Xavier Woods was the most outspoken about a King Of The Ring return earlier this year. At time of writing, he's yet to bounce past Jinder Mahal in the semis on Raw, but...that's definitely happening, right? It'd be crap if WWE believed Mahal vs. Finn Bálor was the right final here, for example.

Granted, Finn is the obvious winner for most fans. The Irishman could work some sort of 'Prince becomes King' gimmick afterwards, and it'd certainly give Bálor some bargaining chips for title shots over on Raw post-Draft. There's something lovely about the thought that Woods might have his moment though.

He's the only one in New Day who hasn't had that major singles success. Kofi Kingston and Big E both tasted it as WWE Champions, whereas Xavier has had to be content with sharing the spotlight whenever WWE give him it. It's time to change that and crown him 'King'.
