WWE Crown Jewel 2021: 10 Things That Must Happen

5. Bobby Lashley Has Goldberg’s Number

Goldberg's previous two visits to Saudi were nightmare fuel.

Who could ever forget his depressing tussle with The Undertaker at Super ShowDown 2019, or his arguably even-more-bleak victory over Bray Wyatt's 'Fiend' at the follow up event in 2020? So, it's perhaps no shocker that few hold out high hopes for big Bill's next go-around in the Kingdom with Bobby Lashley.

The good news is that WWE are giving these lads some shortcuts. Their SummerSlam battle was kept short enough to be inoffensive, and another 7-10 minute brawl under Crown Jewel's 'No Holds Barred' stip should be fine and dandy. Well, it will be so long as Lashley wins.

A fired-up Goldberg can run through Bobby for the first few minutes, but he cannot leave Saudi Arabia with his hand raised. WWE can't worry about the legend's aura any longer - it's Goldberg, he'll be fine. Lashley, as a now-former WWE Champion, is the priority here, and he must be protected at all costs.
