This is quite clearly building to an unlikely babyface mega-push for Sami, but WWE knows it can spin things out for a while longer because of how over the story is.

Does it need Zayn costing Jimmy and Jey the Undisputed Tag prizes though? Nah.

That'd be a mistake, especially when they're on the cusp of topping New Day's record-setting reign. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are clearly being readied for yet another chapter with The Usos too, so it'd be weird if creative decided to shunt the belts onto Ridge Holland and Butch just so Jey and Sami can bicker.

This isn't an impossible outcome though - far from it. There's next-to-no-proof that Triple H views the tag division as one of WWE's most important tools, and he might reason that a shock title switch would shake things up.
