4. Drew McIntyre Gets Added To The Universal Championship Match

In the time it’s taken me to write this article there’s already been a second wave of reports dismissing this story but, well, that’s the thing about surprises isn’t it? They do tend to get rubbished if they leak.

Earlier in the week the rumours emerging from PWInsider were that WWE were planning to add Drew McIntrye to the Universal Championship to, once again, make it a triple threat. Physically speaking, that’s probably the biggest match they’ve done since Batista vs Big Show vs Khali… which was… how do I put this… hot dogsh*t?

Drew is another weird omission from the show, but given that he’s already been front and centre of the WWE’s press events in the country this week it’s more than possible he’ll make some sort of appearance on the evening.
