WWE Day 1: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

3. Becky Lynch Vs. Liv Morgan

Being honest, one can tell that Liv isn’t quite at the top level yet, but she deserved this opportunity to face Becky Lynch after years of being overlooked/underused. It's hardly a problem that she was in there vs. Lynch on a ‘B’ pay-per-view like this either, and Liv equipped herself well overall.

Becky's cheating showed off some desperation too. It's almost like she herself has lost a step and knows it, so has to do whatever it takes to win. That, along with trying to reach the ropes and gain an advantage during the match-winning pin (which, regrettably, didn't really work) is something new out of Lynch.

This was definitely one of the better matches on the show.

Fingers crossed WWE's love affair with Morgan isn't a brief one. She deserves the chance to develop, continue finding her feet and then eventually smash it even more than she did here. Both can be proud of their efforts, 'cause they'd sucked fans in by the end.
