It's huge for Seth Rollins that WWE decided to make him the very first pick during the WWE Draft. It wasn't exactly a shocker when Stephanie McMahon gleefully announced that Rollins was now Raw property, but it is striking that he was the first one in the entire draft to be chosen.

Maybe things would have different had Roman Reigns not been suspended for 30 days beforehand, there's a fair chance he - as WWE's current golden boy - would have received the number one treatment. Still, Seth was ahead of everyone, including the likes of John Cena and Brock Lesnar.

What's more notable is that Seth isn't even WWE Champion, Dean Ambrose is. Yet, Rollins was picked before the reigning champ, which really shows how valuable he is to Raw. Over the coming months, he will surely be relied upon to work some lengthy matches and carry the load on the so-called flagship show.

Let's not forget that Raw will remain a three-hour broadcast, so it will need the likes of Rollins to put a real shift in each and every week.
