In previous WWE Drafts, it'd be impossible to foresee the WWE Women's (or Divas, for that matter) Champion being picked so early in proceedings. The promotion's supposed female revolution hasn't been without hiccups, but the fact Charlotte was picked so rapidly does show that the company are at least interested in women's wrestling.

Only Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose were drafted before Charlotte, which is incredible to think. Even more eye-opening was the fact she was picked before the likes of John Cena, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton. Aside from Ambrose, she was only the second champion chosen, which says it all.

WWE decided to stack some more females onto Raw, linking Charlotte with performers like Sasha Banks and Nia Jax. Even Charlotte's sidekick Dana Brooke was placed on the Monday night show, keeping that union together.

In the short-term, Charlotte's issues are with Sasha Banks. Even if 'The Boss' does win the belt come SummerSlam, the fact the current champ is on Raw means there's still scope to continue the feud afterwards.
