WWE Draft 2017: 5 Things That Will Happen (And 5 That Won't)

3. AJ Styles WILL Go To Raw

Daniel Bryan technically “fired” AJ Styles on last week’s SmackDown, but his forthcoming WrestleMania bout with Shane McMahon should effectively reinstate him. For better or worse, Styles is going to spend the next few weeks warring with SD’s Commissioner, and he can’t do that unless he’s on television.

Despite this, don't expect AJ to stick around once WrestleMania is over. Bryan has lost all respect for Styles, and whether he wins or loses, AJ has become a persona non grata on Tuesday nights. His future almost certainly lies away from the show that he has helped carry since last July, and it’s time for him to conquer Raw.

Losing AJ will be a huge blow for SmackDown. The show was built around him for months, and with John Cena expected to miss increasing amounts of TV time this year, SD will be desperately short on star power. SD must receive at least one of Raw’s major players in return, but at this point, shifting AJ to Mondays feels like a certainty. He has wrestled (and defeated) everyone of note on SmackDown, and after a strong WWE Championship reign, a run at the Universal Title could be on the cards.
