WWE Draft 2019: 10 Things That Need To Happen
7. There's Genuine Thought Behind Other Splits
Obviously, splitting any tag-team or group is a risk for WWE. It's something they've done with glee over the years during Drafts, and it hasn't always worked out. Think of how botched The Dudley Boyz split was in 2002, for example. That was one creative felt the need to fix just eight months later.
If WWE are planning some emotional farewells for on screen buddies this Friday and following Monday, then they must ensure that there's a proper plan in place for each wrestler. It's an all-too-often grumble post-Draft to read about the company making an arse of splits. Nobody should fancy seeing that happen again with a team like Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler or The IIconics.
It's pointless. Booking for booking's sake.
Roode would be lost without Ziggler, and vice versa. Sadly, there's a very-real possibility that they'll drop the Raw Tag belts to The Viking Raiders next week then stare ashen-faced at one another as they're separated without any concrete direction.
