WWE Elimination Chamber 2014: 7 Things WWE Did Right

5. Big E Had A Very Good Match With Jack Swagger

The Intercontinental Title match may be lost in the all the hoopla of the two main matches on the show. Don't forget about Big E and Swagger, though. They went all out for about 12 minutes, wrestled at a fast pace, had some great moments and delivered a satisfying ending too. A spot that I loved was when Swagger was standing on the apron. Big E ran the ropes on the other side of the ring, hit Swagger with a shoulder to the ribs and instead of just stopping there he went down to the floor with Swagger too. It's not an easy bump to take. You might remember the same move when Edge beat Mick Foley at WrestleMania 22 although that one had a flaming table to go along with it. Swagger wasn't expected to really be a threat for Big E's IC Title. All he was there to do was have a good, competitive match and that's what they did. Loved watching Big E power out of the Patriot Lock (ankle lock) a few times and the way he finished off Swagger with the Big Ending. It wouldn't be a bad thing if they had more matches together. The chemistry is there.
