WWE Elimination Chamber 2014: 7 Things WWE Did Right

4. Fans Had Their Voices Heard: "Bootista"

When fans get to voice their opinion during a show it translates well on the television broadcast because it lets the viewer at home know that they care. They spent their hard earned money, so they should be able to voice their opinion how they want. What does WWE think about the way the fans chanted at Batista on Sunday? They booed him for nearly everything they did. There was even a "Bootista" chant, which is about as silly as they come, yet it was also really cool to hear something like that. It was surreal in a lot of ways. This is the guy they're putting in a WWE Title match at WrestleMania. They're hyping him up as the top babyface that gets to headline WrestleMania and the fans are booing him. Of course we've seen stuff like that with John Cena for years, but at least in his case you could still hear the children and female fans cheering him while the others booed. Fans are not opening up to Batista. They tried so hard for the fans to cheer him at Elimination Chamber by having Del Rio do the cheap attack with a weapon, but the fans didn't care. They knew Batista was going to come back to win the match and of course that's what happened. Hopefully WWE opens their eyes, but more importantly their ears. There's nothing wrong with Batista being around. It's just that he's better off as a heel. Listen to your fans, WWE.
