Overall Score And Summary Of Elimination Chamber 2014
The Elimination Chamber event left fans feeling satisfied as a whole. The Orton retention wasn't a huge surprise, and it looks as if Bryan will still end up implicated in the Wrestlemania main event so it wasn't a hugely bad ending like some other recent pay per view efforts. Most of the card was pretty forgettable. The good Chamber match and brilliant six man contest really made this show. The opener with Big E was also fairly decent. The big achievements coming out of the event is that The Wyatts, Shield and Cesaro all got elevated in a big way. In terms of Mania some fans will feel that Bray vs Cena is a mistake and we still at this moment have Orton vs Batista ... so there is work to be done yet on the creative front to get fans excited for Wrestlemania 30. The disappointments of the show had to be Batista vs Del Rio which could have been so much more and the appalling women's match. WWE need to take a good look at Batista and make some heavy duty decisions. Overall WWE provided a decent level of enjoyment and maintained intrigue to see where we go from here. Overall score: 80%Match Of The Night: The Wyatt Family vs The Shield (second consecutive PPV that Bray has taken match of night honours) Angle Of The Night: Roman Reigns as the last man standing battles valiantly against all three Wyatts Three Stars Of The Show:1. Seth Rollins - His athletic work was the highlight of the match of the night. 2. Roman Reigns - Looked more confident than ever, delivered his moves and angles like a real pro. His future is looking even brighter after this latest stand-out performance. 3. Cesaro - The star man of the Elimination Chamber has now proven himself as a main event contender. His ring work is the most consistently great in the entire WWE.
