WWE Elimination Chamber 2018: 9 Things WWE Got Right

5. Deciding Not To End Asuka’s Winning Streak

Phew, panic over.

WWE would have been making a colossal mistake by booking an Asuka loss at Elimination Chamber. Diluting her WrestleMania moment into a Triple Threat would have given Nia Jax something to do, but it would also have darkened Asuka's spotlight. The Rumble winner has to get Bliss one-on-one.

She also has to go into that match against Alexa unbeaten. You've come so far, WWE writers, please don't spoil Asuka's unstoppable march towards her destiny now. Though it is predictable, and some may even believe it a little obvious, seeing Asuka claim the Raw Women's Title without one single WWE loss is a must.

The simple story is the best one here. If Bliss starts running scared and half-heartedly shouting, "Nobody is ready for Alexa", we could have a fine title chase on our hands. Keeping Jax out of the title picture until after WrestleMania is the best idea for everybody.
