WWE Elimination Chamber 2018: 9 Things WWE Got Right
4. Giving Nia Jax Some Of Her Heat Back
That doesn't mean the most physically-intimidating female on WWE's ranks who isn't named Ronda Rousey shouldn't have her moments too.
Giving Nia some of her heat back by blasting Asuka through that (very specific) spot on the security barricade just furthers the notion that she's coming for the Japanese star's prize post-WrestleMania. If WWE are setting the scene for the big rematch further down the line, then they're going the right away about it.
Look at what Jax and Asuka achieved in just eight minutes at Elimination Chamber. On a card dominated by the Chamber bouts, they provided the most entertainment elsewhere, succeeded in preserving Asuka's winning streak and didn't sacrifice the aura of Jax in the process.
It's a no-brainer that WWE will present Asuka vs. Rousey at some point in the future, possibly at SummerSlam. In the interim, the Raw Women's Champ-to-be will need someone to war with in the months between 'Mania and August. Nia is the best choice to fill that spot.
