WWE Elimination Chamber 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen

7. Lio Rush Is The Difference Maker

The sole reason Lio Rush is involved in this handicap effort is to be the difference maker.

You read that right; lil' Lio's not there to take the fall so Bobby Lashley doesn't have to drop the strap clean to Finn Bálor. If anything, that's what should happen at WrestleMania 35. Here, 49 days out from that supershow, the main objective should be giving Bálor an excuse for losing and, concurrently, making Rush look important to Bobby's cause.

Lio has been good for Lashley. The miniature 'Hype Man' has given fans a reason to react to his client for more reasons than existed before. What was Lashley doing pre-Rush? Hamming it up in sh*tty comedy skits and struggling to create a likeable backstory? C'mon, the ex-205 Live man is living proof that managers are gold.

At the Chamber, Lio should be the one to help distract Finn long enough for Bobby to do some damage and pick up the win. Then, Bálor has a case for a one-on-one opportunity, either at Fastlane or (better yet) WrestleMania.
