WWE Elimination Chamber 2019: 6 Last-Minute Rumours You Need To Know
6. Tamina And Nia
You want Bayley and Sasha to win the tag titles. I know, I want Bayley and Sasha to win the tag titles too. I also sort of want the IIConics to win them but, mostly, I want Bayley and Sasha to win them.
WWE want this as well because that mental image of all 4 of the Horsewomen parading around all 4 of the company's belts is an image they want to punctuate the Women's Revolution with. They want to be able to make a video package of that 30 seconds Paige/Emma/Bellas match, the ensuing fan reaction, and then all the moments that led from there to that shot.
That said though, they won't be doing it here.
For all the Boss 'n' Hug Connection will definitely be picking up those belts in the next few months, they're almost certainly not going to be the inaugural champions. Ultimately, if they were, then all you're building to at WrestleMania is a fairly run-of-the mill title defence. Why do that, when you can build towards a feel good, against-the-odds win?
Thus it'll be the uber-heel team of Nia and Tamia who leave the Elimination Chamber, setting up a programme on Raw over the remaining two months that sees Bayley and Sasha battle back to get another shot on the Grandest Stage of Them All. One of the very few booking decision rumours it's hard to find any real fault with.
