WWE Elimination Chamber 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen

'Stone Cold's' announcement; WWE crowning new champions; WrestleMania reveals.

Credit where credit is due: WWE's last Saudi Arabian supershow was a doozy. Crown Jewel had a blistering HIAC corker between Edge and Seth Rollins, crownings for a new 'King' and 'Queen', that spirited Goldberg vs. Bobby Lashley bout, a fun women's three way and Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar.

In other words, it had one of WrestleMania's main events. That latter match is heading to rematch territory in Dallas this April, but the question remains...can WWE do it again? Will this year's Elimination Chamber bolster the company's rep when it comes to these largely-unwanted international trips?

Fingers crossed, but these shows always come with a bit of hesitancy.

Things seem positive going in though, and there may even be a blockbuster announcement waiting in the wings that'll shake 'Mania up. It's one few could've expected at the turn of the year, but it's something WWE has wanted for close to 20 years.

Here's everything (including title switches, WrestleMania 38 reveals, comebacks, memorable moments and more) that must happen in Jeddah on Saturday night. If the promotion nails this, then watch that anticipation for April 2-3 skyrocket.

10. The Miz Beats Rey Mysterio

There's no denying that the undercard has some real puzzlers.

Rey Mysterio vs. The Miz is a fine enough match, but there's no real feud for both guys to sink their teeth into here. This is a standard babyface vs. heel exhibition, albeit a deceptively important one for the latter - Miz maybe can't afford to lose another string of bouts heading into 'Mania.

That's why he has to get the 'W' on Saturday and do so like a no good cheating scumbag. WWE love a roll up finish, and there's no reason why Mr. Miz can't do that to Rey. He should also hook the tights just for good measure, and it'd be even better if Dominik costs his dad too.

WWE need to get moving on that story, because things are getting seriously stale for the occasionally-frosty father/son duo. Yeah, give Miz the win and move the family drama narrative closer to a much-needed conclusion.
