That's when The Miz would try to play hero.

He'd ride to the rescue for his old buddy, or at least plan to. Of course, it'd still be three on two (Dominik Mysterio would be there with Priest and Bálor), and that'd mean Awesome Truth eating a vicious beatdown that teases what's about to happen next at WrestleMania 40. Yep, you guessed it: Miz and Truth challenging for gold.

Why not? The alternative would be one of those 'get everyone on the card' multi-team efforts that rarely spike interest anyway. Sure, they pad bank accounts, but they're hardly the best use of the belts. Nah, give Awesome Truth a crack at Judgment Day instead, and then free up Damian Priest for bigger things.

First though, that aforementioned kicking. It'd have to be a really violent one - the kind that leaves fans desperate to see babyfaces vow revenge on TV afterwards. It's an easy play, this, and a bit of a layup for Triple H's creative team.
