WWE Elimination Chamber 2024: 10 Things That Must Happen
6. Rhea Ripley Sells Hard For Nia Jax
This is honestly vital.
WWE is already looking past Nia Jax by having Becky Lynch dismiss her threat during promos on Raw, and pretty much no-one believes she has a hope in hell of winning the Women's World Title. Nia is a speed bump on Rhea Ripley's road to 'Mania, and that's just the way it is.
That shouldn't mean she gets squashes flat though. If anything, it's Jax who should be most dominant during the first half of the title bout over in Australia. It's important she gets to kick the sh*te out of Rhea so 'Mami's' comeback during the final stretch actually means something and gets a huge pop.
Ripley hasn't been tasked with doing much selling during her almost year-long reign to date. That changes on Saturday. Normally, she's a heel, but that obviously won't be the case in Perth. So, Rhea has to make like Ricky Steamboat and sell, sell, sell like crazy.
