WWE Elimination Chamber: 6 Matches You Must Watch First

6. 2011 Smackdown Elimination Chamber

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Oho_2Yr8AE The Most Exciting Chamber Match In History What is amazing about this match, which Chad Matthews voted the #1 Elimination Chamber Match of all time on this site is that it was one of Edge's last matches in WWE. At this point he was broken down and had known that he had to retire soon. It certainly doesn't feel that way and it's a testament to Edge that he never showed any sign of weakness in this high flying, intense and thrilling Elimination Chamber Match. Edge, Kane and Rey Mysterio were the veterans and all three had notables feuds with each other, but the match was notable for the performances of Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler and an intense 'Chosen One' Drew McIntyre who all were looking to cement themselves as stars within the company. All three were looking to elevate themselves into the main event and although all three of their futures don't look so good right now, on this night in 2011 they looked liked they belonged in the World Heavyweight Championship scene. There are so many great moments, from Drew McIntyre's insane performance headbutting the pod, to Rey Mysterio getting thrown about the Chamber like a rag doll to the spectacular ending sequence all of the match is an impressive spectacle and as Booker says "You Gotta Love It" and the crowd in the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California certainly were loving it judging by the noise the made during the match. There is an incredible flow to the match and every sequence feels dramatic and certainly the final 10 minutes are some of the most thrilling moments the Elimination Chamber has ever seen. I'm sure Rey Mysterio can still feel the pain he endured on this night.
