2. The Wyatt Family vs The Shield - The Battle
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYJ1X2ULLYM Oh baby, you say the title and almost everyone is salivating and sold on this match. Every since their first standoff in November of last year, fans have been wishing for this match. After a three month wait, here we are. Normally, this is a type of match that would be a hard sell on a pay-per-view. You have a three on three match which, before the Shield debuted, was a rarity. Add to this that they are both heels and confusion sets in on who to cheer for. However, today is a new day and age in the industry. In today's product, the audience doesn't follow the flow of the WWE and cheer for the people they want to be cheered. No, the audience, with more influence from the internet, cheers for who they either want to or think deserves to. Take a look back at Daniel Bryan in 2012, Dolph Ziggler in 2013, and Antonio Cesaro today. It is't as black and white now. Add to this that fact that over the past months, the WWE has been doing a slow, slow, slow, slow (did I mention slow?) built to the Shield breaking up. This group used to be a powerhouse of hounds fighting injustice. Now, they seem like three wrestler's put together against their wills. They all, especially Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, want to be the leader of the group. However, a group can only have one leader and Seth Rollins can only hold the group together so long before it combusts. During the Royal Rumble last month, you saw Dean Ambrose attempt to eliminate Reigns, even when they said they would work together until the end. When Reigns beat CM Punk after Ambrose or Rollins couldn't, things took a major shift. Ambrose felt he deserved the respect for holding onto his title for so long while Reigns and Rollins couldn't. On the most recent edition of Raw, Ambrose continued to attack Mark Henry after the bell, which drew ire from Rollins and Reigns, especially the latter. On the other side, we have a family. It is in their name and they act as such. They all know their place and this is what makes them so strong. Bray Wyatt is the patriarch of the group and Luke Harper and Erick Rowan do the dirty work to get the message across and the job done. During their promo on this week's Raw. Luke Harper asked the Shield, "Are you willing to die for this?" to which Bray stated, "If not, you've already lost." This is the message the Wyatt's bring. They fight for each other and ,specifically, for Bray. The Shield don't fight for each other. They might have fought for justice, but they don't fight to the death for each other. This match will be outstanding, although slow at times. However, I believe the slow burn build to the break up to the Shield will hit the gas during this match. Somehow, Ambrose will try to prove to everyone that he is the alpha dog of the Shield and the Shield will lose because of this. This will turn into a feud between Ambrose and Reigns, with Rollins unfortunately playing third fiddle. I do see Rollins turning his back on Reigns as well, but the focus will be Ambrose and Reigns. Prediction: The Wyatts by pinfall after Bray Wyatt hits the Sister Abigail on Dean Ambrose after Ambrose tags himself in on Reigns. Odds: Wyatt Family-83%, The Shield-17%
