WWE Extreme Rules: 16 Things You Might Have Missed

Extreme Rules is one of the loudest nights of the year, fans barely having time to catch their breath between the cracks of kendo sticks, the sickening thump of steel on flesh and the crunch of bodies being driven through splintering wood. This year's Extreme Rules is in the books and, despite a flaccid buildup, delivered a consistently entertaining night of accomplished wrestling and hardcore shenanigans, as much as can be reasonably expected in the PG era. There were memorable moments throughout, from Sheamus' brilliant booked cowardice, to Ambrose and Harper's jaunt around the city, to Big Show and Roman Reigns shocking everyone by putting on the match of the night. Seriously, how did THAT happen? In fact, you couldn't really classify any of the matches as outright stinkers. Even the somewhat lethargic main event had its moments, up until the confusing finish. But amidst the upturned announce tables, broken chairs and Cole shouting "YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME" so often that you'd really think he'd realise that people weren't kidding him, it's easy to lose a few little details here or there.
