WWE Extreme Rules 2017: 10 Things That Must Happen

7. Austin Aries Becomes Cruiserweight Champion

Hopefully, Neville and Austin Aries get together before Extreme Rules and pick out different gear, because they've been wearing the same stuff once too often lately. Aside from aesthetics, it's important that Aries (as the babyface) doesn't keep coming up short. At some point, he has to win, and win strongly.

In this Submission Match, having Aries struggle out of Neville's Rings Of Saturn hold, only to lock on his own Last Chancery, makes perfect sense. Nobody is expecting the 39-year old to beat a heel who has been on top form with the Cruiserweight Title either, so it's win-win and would provide the show with a neat little shock.

This is surely Austin's last chance.

WWE can't keep booking these guys against one another time and time again; it'll get boring. Also, given how Payback's match ended (with Neville intentionally getting himself DQ'd), babyface revenge is the only way to go.
