WWE Extreme Rules 2017: 10 Things That Must Happen

6. Alexa Bliss & Bayley Beat The Snot Out Of One Another

That 'This Is Your Life' segment from Raw must be consigned to WWE history as soon as possible. Alexa Bliss looked totally ill-prepared to get fans back onside after they turned on the promo skit, and not even Bayley's arrival could save things. Both women have the chance to set things right at Extreme Rules.

The 'Kendo Stick On A Pole' stipulation ironically comes at a time when Vince Russo is discussing his intentions to make a WWE return. That's a funny coincidence; shoddy 'Objects On A Pole' matches were a favourite of Russo's in WCW. The rules threaten to undermine Bayley and Bliss here, just as they did others back when Russo was writing, so they're swimming upstream from the get go.

And yet, the opportunity is there for both women to put dire segments and silly stips behind them to have one hell of a brawl. If WWE let them take their frustrations out on one another, Extreme Rules could have a sleeper hit on its hands.

Just let them tear it up with weapons, and things should be fine.
