WWE Extreme Rules 2017: 8 Awesome Moments

6. Neville's Red Arrow To Rings Of Saturn Transition

Austin Aries Neville

Since turning heel and developing an Orc-ish sneer that would make the Urak-Hai proud and land a role in Lord Of The Rings, Neville has been the glue holding the entire Cruiserweight division together. Key to his success as a heel has been abandoning the flashy Red Arrow completely. That move made a comeback at Extreme Rules.

No, Neville wasn't pandering to the Baltimore crowd and reliving his babyface run, the move made sense on this occasion. Impressively twisting in the air, the Newcastle man landed flush on Austin Aries and instantly locked in the Rings Of Saturn for a submission victory. Man, that looked cool - there are few athletes who could pull that one off.

On that note, it might be time for WWE to come up with a new name for the hold, because it's the same one used by Perry Saturn years ago. Perhaps something like the 'King's Curse' would be fitting, instead of Neville's finisher casting up images of older wrestlers. Still though, can't see Saturn doing what Neville did!
