WWE Extreme Rules 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen

10. Big Dog Vs. Big Bob Opens The Show

As hard as WWE might try, "Bob" (as Roman Reigns keeps calling him) isn't ready for a crack at Brock Lesnar or the Universal Title. It'll take a lot more than one brief feud with Reigns to rid the stench of that dreadful Sami Zayn storyline. Lashley, unfortunately, looks like less of a star because of that "Bobby's Sisters" nonsense.

On the plus side, the brawl that kicked off Raw this past Monday night was the hottest thing he's done since returning.

Jump-starting Extreme Rules with a similarly wild, balls-to-the-wall fight would be wise. That's why Reigns vs. Lashley should be in the opening slot this Sunday; it certainly shouldn't be anywhere near the main event, not unless WWE want another "Beat The Traffic" debacle on their hands like the one that sucked the life out of Backlash.

Seeing Roman and Lashley tear one another apart for 10-15 minutes would set the tone for the pay-per-view, help gloss over the fact they're not really fighting over anything and solve the issue of a straight up singles match on a show called Extreme Rules.
