WWE Extreme Rules 2018: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best

1. WWE Title: AJ Styles (C) Vs. Rusev

Result: Styles takes Rusev down with the Phenomenal Forearm to retain the strap (15:35).

Rating: Though it's disappointing WWE didn't finally pull the trigger on Rusev here - as shocking as that would've been - it was extremely satisfying to see him look so credible against AJ.

The two had surprisingly great chemistry, with AJ once again doing his best to put his opponent over while also making himself look like a million bucks. Rusev himself did great work selling the leg, and it really felt like he had the win with the Machka Kick near-fall.

This wasn't a classic by any means and lacked some of the title match majesty you'd hope for - largely because the result was so predictable - but it was a solid bout all the same. Clearly, this should've been the main event. 7/10
