WWE Extreme Rules 2019: Every Match Ranked From Worst To Best
1. Cesaro Vs. Aleister Black
Result: Black puts Cesaro down with the Black Mass for the win (9:45).
Rating: These two clearly deserved more ring time, but they made the absolute best of it and delivered the most physical and visceral match of the entire night. Yes, even more than the Strowman/Lashley demolition derby.
This was a great reminder of just how terrific Cesaro can be with the right opponent: they both complimented each other superbly and used each other's styles for some extremely creative counters. Cesaro throwing Black into the air and murdering him with an Uppercut was awesome.
The crowd was still zapped from the main show opener, sadly, so the atmosphere felt a little lacklustre, but on a technical level, this was a shining example of an economic sprint that wasted not a second. 8/10
