WWE Extreme Rules 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

Sick bags at the ready.

The Horror Show at Extreme Rules
WWE

2020's weirdness continues with one of the most elongated pay-per-view names yet.

WWE are going all out to make Sunday's 'The Horror Show At Extreme Rules' bizarre. There are bold gimmick bouts, cinematic promises, mystery stipulations, and everything has this goofy, mid-90s TV show feel (right down to the 'Baby's First Photoshop' logo, which just has to be deliberately hokey).

Everything is eye-catching, at least. That's fitting too, because Rey Mysterio and Seth Rollins are either about to embark on a CGI masterpiece or fail to come through on this 'Eye For An Eye' drama. WWE are becoming very adept at painting themselves into a corner, and it's gonna' be interesting to see how/if they sidestep this grisly business.

Elsewhere, your writer is yearning for a title change that'll motor things towards a major feud in time for SummerSlam, and he wants the company to jump start one of Raw's main lures 24 hours later too. Also, could there be another unlikely comeback in the works?

Here's everything that must happen to make this more shot in the arm than bump in the night...
