WWE Extreme Rules 2022: 10 Things That Must Happen
4. Bayley Ends Bianca Belair’s Reign
Raw ending with Bayley atop a ladder holding the Raw Women's Title suggests that Bianca Belair will get the win at Extreme Rules. That's how WWE booking typically works, but it'd be great if they turned that formula upside down this weekend by putting the Damage CTRL leader in the 'W' column.
It's time for something different in this division.
Bianca has been champion since WrestleMania 38 in April. At time of writing, she's held the belt for 184 days - that's long enough, and Bayley's new Damage CTRL crew have kinda started to take over headlines on Monday nights. All good things must come to an end etc etc.
Running back Raw's finish by having Bayley pose atop the ladder with her new prize would be the way to go at Extreme Rules. Put those rumours of Charlotte Flair returning to wrestle Belair at 'Mania 39 in the bin, because Bianca's title reign probs doesn't have another six months in it.
