WWE Extreme Rules: 8 Match Predictions

1. WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Daniel Bryan Vs. Triple H

This is just a guess, but it wouldn't be a bad idea for Bryan's first "Special Event" title defense to be against the on screen WWE COO, Triple H. Even though Bryan's had many matches with Randy Orton, his main rival in this storyline has been Triple H. If Bryan's going to have a title reign that lasts a couple of months then he needs people to beat in major matches. Hunter's a guy that doesn't need the WWE Title at this point in his career obviously, but if Bryan were to go over him for the second major show in a row it would mean a lot for him as a champion. Whether you like Hunter or not, he does have a lot of credibility. It's about building Bryan up and giving him quality wins more than anything else. They could create a scenario where the odds are stacked against Bryan with a steel cage stipulation or perhaps a No Holds Barred match, which is the kind of scenario that Hunter has thrived in during his career. Make it mean something for Bryan to beat him. That's the key to it. Extreme Rules has the potential to be an outstanding show. Following a strong WrestleMania and Raw, it's up to WWE to put together the right card to deliver the memorable show that fans should come to expect every pay-per-view...or special event.
