At their best, hardcore wrestling fans can totally enhance the atmosphere of an amazing, iconic moment, and at their worst, their over-zealousness can be either irritating, hilarious or both. The crowd was in an absolute frenzy (for the standards of this crowd, anyway), when Sting came out to stand toe-to-toe with Triple H, to the point that one crazed can couldn't help himself but start shouting "WCW! WCW! WCW!" incessantly as the two stared at each other. What should have been an electrifyingly intense moment was rendered unintentionally funny by what appeared to be a drunk idiot in the crowd screaming at the top of his lungs. Trips certainly didn't look too amused either.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
