4. Triple H Flaunts His Title In The Face Of Roman Reigns
Back at the TLC pay-per-view, Roman Reigns received some cheers of his own for savagely battering Triple H as the show went off the air. WWE didn't seem to enjoy the thought of booking a reverse at Fastlane, but they couldn't resist writing 'The Game' to come out and get in Roman's face. This was solely to concrete in the minds of fans that Reigns vs. Triple H is the 'Mania main event. In a way, this actually worked in their favour. After all, why would Triple H - the man who currently holds the WWE World Heavyweight Title - bother beating down Reigns? At the Royal Rumble, he gained the ultimate revenge for TLC by winning the title from Roman and winning the annual 30-man ruckus. At Fastlane, he was rubbing that fact in the challenger's face. The lasting image of Fastlane was important to WWE, they craved that nose-to-nose confrontation in front of the beaming WrestleMania sign. That's exactly what they booked, and it's exactly what they would end up getting. Some may deem Reigns a frosty choice as top babyface, but this showdown looked great.
