WWE Fastlane 2016: 10 Things We Learned

2. The League Of Nations Are In The Tag-Team Title Picture

Overall, the segment involving Edge and Christian seemed to exist primarily to promote their new WWE Network program. In the midst of all that fanfare, The New Day appeared to gain themselves some new challengers for the WWE Tag-Team Titles. At the very least, expect some title bouts between the dancing unicorn-lovers and the League Of Nations on television very soon. Sheamus, Rusev, Alberto Del Rio and 'King' Barrett may even make up challengers for the titles come WrestleMania. That's certainly how their involvement in the 'Cutting Edge Peep Show' at Fastlane came across. Truthfully, New Day haven't been outright heels for a long time, they're far too endearing and audience-pleasing (even when being insulting) for that. It looks like the League Of Nations will either be the main challengers at 'Mania, or will simply make up the numbers in a multi-team scenario. Perhaps the latter is the most likely outcome, but there's definitely a feel that both sides are about to be at loggerheads. If not, the Fastlane segment would feel like a colossal waste.
