19. Is Nia Jax Even Ready?

Again, considering how the PPV ended, the first Women's match could have been a lot worse. It wasn't particularly memorable, but thanks to some excellent selling from Sasha Banks, it was at least watchable and had some great moments.

It just remains to be seen whether Nia Jax currently deserves her billing. She's certainly missing something at the minute, and it's not hard to see that she'd be improved considerably by a serious injection of intensity. At least then she won't look so slow.

The reactions seem to have gone from the pragmatic and well-meaning...

To the extremely harsh...

There is of course an inherent problem with booking a monster like Nia Jax, and reinforcing her size and power for months, but then putting her in matches with far smaller opponents and her not really having the selling skills to tell that story...

At least Sasha looked good... And at least the crowd didn't hate the whole thing by the end. That's got to be a small victory, right?
