WWE Fastlane 2017: 6 Shocks That Could Happen

5. Braun Strowman Vs. Roman Reigns Has A Clear Cut Winner

Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns have existed on opposite sides of the booking fence since last Summer's WWE Draft. On one side, the massive Braun has been a monster on Raw; rampaging through everyone, he has been booked to perfection thus far. That shouldn't change before WrestleMania.

On the other side, the same old problems are plaguing Reigns; fans just don't want to accept Roman the way WWE would love them to, and there's an overwhelmingly inorganic feel to his status at the top of the card. It remains impossible to foresee him lacking momentum heading into 'Mania.

This begs the question: will WWE sacrifice one man to boost the other before April 2?

Common sense would dictate that the writers protect both Strowman and Reigns, because both guys will be relied upon to carry Raw post-WrestleMania. The most logical outcome, then, is a double disqualification or count out finish.

It'd be a shock to see Braun stare at the lights for Roman cleanly, and even more surprising to see Reigns put to the sword without interference. That doesn't mean it won't happen, because the winner would look like a titan.
