WWE Fastlane 2017: 6 Shocks That Could Happen

1. Brock Lesnar Costs Goldberg The Universal Title

Everything on Raw has been geared towards an obvious outcome at Fastlane. WWE aren't hiding the idea of Goldberg dethroning Kevin Owens and becoming the new Universal Champion; the former WCW man has outright said this will happen, and that he'll go on to defend against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania.

As cerebral as Paul Heyman is, though, the beastly Lesnar would logically be more concerned with gaining revenge on Goldberg. This means Brock wouldn't have his eye on the long-term prize (the potential to become champion at 'Mania), and he could feasibly decided to stop his chief rival from bagging the belt on Sunday.

Jaws would be left on the floor if Brock Lesnar interfered in Goldberg vs. Kevin Owens and ultimately helped the latter retain his title, largely because few expect KO to leave the pay-per-view with his title reign intact.

It could happen though; as mentioned, the Lesnar vs. Goldberg match doesn't need the title to feel special at WrestleMania, but - in comparison - Owens vs. Jericho is a story that has revolved around KO's reign as champ and Jericho's protection of it.
