WWE Fastlane 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. Nakamura & Styles Face Off (With John Cena Looking On)

That's when Shinsuke Nakamura's music needs to hit.

As AJ Styles holds aloft the WWE Title and John Cena looks like a kid hearing that Christmas has been cancelled, the number one contender should dance his way to the ring, look at AJ (ignoring Cena) and point at the WrestleMania 34 sign.

Seeing WWE's camera crew slowly shift focus from Nakamura and Styles going head-to-head to a dismayed Cena sitting in the background with mouth agape would be a powerful visual to close out the pay-per-view. In an instant, fans would be left with questions about the next episode of SmackDown: how will AJ respond to Shinsuke's interruption of his celebrations? What does John Cena do now?

Whether Cena is getting that match against The Undertaker or not, it'd be wise to keep him away from the WWE Title scene at 'Mania. His time is up, and Nakamura's is here.
