WWE Fastlane 2018: 10 Things WWE Got Right

1. Keeping The WWE Title On AJ Styles

Phew, he did it.

Fans hoping that WWE would press forward with AJ Styles as champion and give him a major spot at WrestleMania 34 need not worry any longer. Now, after defending the title at Fastlane, AJ is set to reach the promised land that is WWE Title match territory on 2018's grandest stage.

There's no doubt he deserves it. Years of hard graft have led to this point, and it would have been undeniably cruel to see AJ's WrestleMania dreams whipped away from him so close to the moment. Allay your fears, fellow wrestling fans, because Styles is on his way to New Orleans.

He's not the only one who deserves credit however. WWE do too. When it might've been easier to go with a proven draw like John Cena as champ before 'Mania, they've stuck to their guns and rewarded Styles for putting on excellent match after excellent match, night in and night out.
