WWE Fastlane 2021: 10 Things That Must Happen

3. Sheamus Stuns Drew McIntyre

Loads of fans won't agree with this idea, but here goes.

WWE dropped a clanger by announcing that Drew McIntyre is Bobby Lashley's WrestleMania challenger on Raw. The company should've kept that under wraps until after Fastlane and booked this Drew vs. Sheamus decider as a number one contendership battle. They didn't though, and that's why Sheamus must win.

Confused? Don't be. McIntyre and Lashley already went one-on-one at Backlash last June. Plus, Sheamus will have next-to-nothing to do in Tampa if he's not part of the WWE Title scene. Plus, WWE had the Irishman attack Lashley on Monday night before working him in a singles bout too.

At Fastlane, Sheamus may have to beat McIntyre and then throw his name into the hat for a crack at Lashley's belt. Then, Adam Pearce (or someone else in a position of authority - Shane McMahon, maybe?) can announce that 'Mania's title showing will now be a Triple Threat.

Three big dudes smashing one another with power moves? Sounds fun.
