WWE made the right call by having Big Cass spoil any chance that Daniel Bryan would overcome the odds to eliminate both he and Braun Strowman quickly, win the first ever 50-man Rumble and celebrate with thousands of his new friends.

By raining all over a spent Bryan's parade by cruelly hurling him over the top after over one hour in the ring, Cass looked ruthless and followed up on his fine SmackDown promo from Tuesday night nicely. This is a new side to Cass we're seeing, one that's way better than his generic, nervous heel performances from last Summer.

He's full of confidence, appears to believe (at least a little) his complaints about being pushed aside for Bryan's return and is totally convincing as someone who thinks size is all that counts in WWE. Having one of Bryan's first matches back is a top spot too.

Now, having thrown Daniel over the top rope in Saudi, Cass can act like his sh*t doesn't stink before Bryan inevitably gets some revenge come Backlash.
